| I'm thinking about taking my son out muskie fishing on one of the MN Metro lakes this week, Thursday or Friday.... How has the boat traffic been this week, on the metro lakes, given that it's a 'holiday' week? |

| Plan on fishing 5am to 10am and pulling off. That should be your best window for boat traffic. One more thing to consider, my metro lake often is a ghost town on the 4th in the morning. I think everyone believes it to be so bad, that no one shows up.. Something to think about! |

Yes, I think we'll hit that time of day.... Your tip regarding going out on the Fourth makes sense, but unfortunately we'll be heading out of town for a family reunion gathering that day.... Fourth of July gatherings may be another reason the Fourth is less hectic on some bodies of water.... |
