Does anyone use the Shimano Tekota Line Counter reels? What are the Pro's and Con's. I'm looking to purchase a couple Line Counter reels for next season and need some feedback. Thank's. Pat

They're sweet. They have the best power and drag of any LC I've used. The only down side is that the clicker isn't the loudest.

The okuma Catalina LC fit is a champion. Best drag I've used (including Penn, Shimano and Shakespear LCs), large line release knob for use with gloves on and/or in the dark. Super loud line-out alarm. Huge power handle. I use the #25 size. Some guys I fish with use Tekotas wish now they bought the Cat LCs. Cabelas has them for under $100. My two Cat LCs handled big baits and big fish flawlessly this fall. It it calming to finally settle on the perfect LC. Duff

I have a couple and I love them. I do agree the clicker is a bit on the quiet side, but thats their only flaw.
