How do you go about breaking in new Motors? Im going to need to do this with a 60 Four Stroke Merc. Any help would be great!

read the owner's manual before you take the motor out. follow the directions, EXACTLY.

Read the owners manual for sure.

I would assume that it probably has a 10-20 hour break in period.

Don't over do it to soon, or you'll pay in the long run. Break it in right.

My new Merc's owner's manual said to (bear in mind, I have a 2 stroke 90 horse) mix some more oil in with the first tank of gas, and to not run at the same speed/ RPM for more than 2 minutes at a time, and to not open her all the way up until that first tank of gas was burned up. Again, read YOUR manual.
