| Did you see my dreams when you came up with Bulgers? That's exactly what I've been thinking about making for my personal use.
They should be easier to retrieve, while allowing either a fast or slow retrieve.
Good looking site. I'm sure it took lots of hard work.

Location: Eden Prairie & Pine Island | Thanks, Chad. I try to make those so the tail sections are very light and spin very freely to enable working the bait slowly if desired. I put a brass sleeve through the tail section to reduce resistance on the shaft. Drilling the tail slightly off center also helps make the bait undulate some when its moving. Otherwise its a standard design with a really good popping sound, but a little less noise than say a TopRaider or such... Was my best lure on Tonka two years ago. |
