I've used hook cutters to cut the old ones off then replaced with new ones.

I dunno how Suicks are rigged, though.
A good set of split ring pliers was one of my better investments! m

Split ring pliers.
I think that I have about 5 pair or more.
I leave a couple in the tool box in my boat for use in replacing cut hooks.
One in the shop. One in the assembly area.
And one old one that I have that works real nice on small rings for smaller cranks and walleye and bass baits.
