I just picked up several filler spools of#50/#65 Power Pro in different colors. Does color of the line matter ? Is there a better line for specific fishing techniques ? I have these colors dark green, light tan, brown, white and yellow/chartreuse. Is there a better color line for specific techniques or different color water ? How about fishing dusk or into the night ? I am a bit confused here, any help would be appreciated. Roy

If you want your hands to turn green, buy the green

If you like brown fingers, buy the brown

Beyond that, I don't think it matters much. If you're concerned about the fish seeing it, hold it up against the sky -- that's more like what the fish see. You're looking down into brown water and you can't see brown line, so you think "wow, it's invisible". Yes it sure is, but only to you. That fish is looking at it with a bright blue sky as a background.

If you use them enough, they are all one color...dingy white. They lose their color pretty fast...from both water intrusion and sitting in the sun.

Over the years, I have come to belive that white is the best color. a dingy white is nice. Marv.
