Location: lansing, il | well im gonna take the dive and give the new optima gel batteries a shot this year, i havnt heard anything bad about them, except the price. but they seem right up my alley cause i hate batteries and love abusing them, cause i just plain dont like taking care of them! for just my trolling motor what size is best or is there only one size in the deep cycle?? anyone found the cheapest place to buy these things??? ( im in the chicago area) |

I know you're probably still considering the Trojan v. Optimas, but you know my advice: assuming it will fit, DEFINITELY get the bigger one!! The money difference should work out to be nothing over the years you own it.
Actually, no matter what you get you should by the biggest one.
