Im going to memphis TN and i was wondering if there are any lakes in that area . boat rental/whats going on all that jazz.thanks for any intell.

Dale Hollow, but that is probably ~200 miles away to the NE. I bet you could find a nice bass pond or two in the area you are going to be in. Good luck.

check the regional reports for muskie lakes in that region. You may have to 'settle' for big blue cats on the Mississippi! m

some good bass fishing around Memphis. best is the Pickwick Dam of the Tennesse River about an hour drive and then there is Horseshoe Lake which is an oxbow lake just across the river south of West Memphis, Arkansas .... the most popular fishing is Sardis which is about 45 min. south of Memphis. lots of boat dealers in Memphis and you should be able to find some rental options somewhere. not sure if i would call Memphis a fishing destination ... lived there awhile and had to drive an hour each direction for really good fishing and it's pretty limited to bass.
