Brian, my son, and his prospective father in law Dan Netzer, went to the river above Tomahawk, and floated a stretch throwing spinnerbaits. He got a 35.5, and several nice smallmouth, all released for another day's battle. The muskie was the ugliest fish I have seen in awhile, but he was happy with it, just the same! I should have the picture up soon.

Steve,

Speaking of the Wisconsin River, do you ever fish the Point flowage? My bro and I have been pounding the stretch from several miles north of Point right into town for the last couple years and have had very limited success. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, as it would be pretty hard for us to do much worse out there.

Thanks,

Paul Jonas

Fish are really snapping on the river south of Point. Toppers in the shallows as well as big bucktails are getting the job done. Doesn't hurt to through a walk the dog bait as a come back either as handyman proved to me yesterday in my boat with a healthy 27#er.

Moving some fish, but feeding window is very short(but intense), closely related to moon phases the past few days.
