Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The fishing tonight as the front went through was not hot and heavy, but when a fish moved, there was a 50% chance it would eat from the reports we heard and our experience. Six teams put fish in the boat, including Norm and Andy!
1st place went to Dan Keck with a 45" beauty from Oneida Lake
2nd went to Andy Krueger with a 38.5 off of Crescent
3rd went to Mike Marquardt with a 36.5" Crescent Lake fish
4th went to John Koch with a Cresent Lake 36
4th (tie) went to Dan Wojtusik with a Crescent Lake 36
5th went to Dave Jonsi with a Crescent Lake 34
Hancock Lake did not produce a legal tonight.
Sue and I moved two fish, one that tried about 4 times to eat a Suick and missed, and one that followed a Weagle all the way in to the boat. Had me going for a bit, but no cigar. Andy would like to announce that "He is no longer JUST a net man!"
The Rhinelander Muskie league meets evey Tuesday during the season. Watch for reports every Tuesday night! |

Rumor has it that if Andy didn't boat a fish this week, that he was riding the pines and Norm was calling up Donna. Great job Andy, about time you make norm use his net.

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | It looks as if Crescent was the place to be last night. The fish we boated was classic, hit during a low light period withing 5 minutes of moonrise. I don't know exactly what that does to the fish but it obviously influences them in a postitive way. |
