Can the Floating Trap be used like a twitch bait? Seems like you could cast these babies into really shallow water and twitch 'em out until it was a little deeper. How far do they sink on impact before resting on the surface. 1 oz or 1 1/2 oz? Anyone use them?

I use them in small shallow creeks here in KY they work great. those creek lunges love'em. most of the fish I get on them are less than 40 inches but I could see where they could be used in lakes.

I would like to see the larger ones made as a floating and suspening model. The grease is a large rattle trap and floats. Lots of vibration.

Hey ToddM,

How about one of these..(pic) I bought it on good old eBay. VINTAGE FRED ARBOGAST HAMMERHEAD
This baby is a Floater at 2 1/2 oz and over 7 inches long I believe. They made a 1 oz model also that was about 5 inches long.
I've never seen one, the seller told me it has rattles. Might be just the ticket.
