| I’ve pulled a boat into Canada 50+ times, only one time was I a little nervous, in Iowa we need a plate, … long story short our group of 3 boats stopped in International Falls and my buddy noticed my trailer plate was missing, (I actually think it may have been stolen) -anyway I just rolled up to cross answered the question and was on my way in 3 minutes, how 90% of my crossing’s have gone..pretty sure they are only looking at your vehicle plate. Your 100% fine if legal in your own state, and possibly fine if you were not, I don’t think they looked to make sure that you’re boat registration or plate is current in your own state although obviously it should be for multiple reasons ha!
