| Is Recon boats taking over Tuffy? |

| I think I read where they (Tuffy) will be built in the Recon plant. I don't know if Recon actually bought them or are contract building them. Wish I could help but thats all I know. |

Hello everyone. My name is John Johnson owner of Recon Boats. I want to give everyone an update on the Tuffy Boats situation. As you may or may not have heard Tuffy Boats was taken over by the bank back in Jan. of this year. One of Tuffy's investors purchased it from the bank and i have purchased it from the investor. My plans are to bring back the most wanted models but first i need to go through each mold for cosmetic and fitment issues. I am currently working on the Esox Magnum and plan to have the first one completed by the end of August.
I will greatly appreciate any constructive comments for the improvement of the Tuffy line of boats. [email protected]
I will also try to help all Tuffy boat owners with replacement parts and construction issues they may have. It looks like i will not have access to the Tuffy facebook page or the website so i will be adding Tuffy models and information to the Recon Boats website and page as we produce the boats. This will take some time so please be patient and if there are any questions please feel free to email the above address. I do have dealers onboard to sell the boats once we start production and i will add them as they get inventory.
All this will take some time and i want to build Tuffy boats with the quality and customer service it deserves. I will need your help and input to do this correctly.
Looking forward to building/rebuilding the Tuffy Boats name back into the fishing market.
