Random quote: I'll also need to be ready to fish with Slamr the following couple days, because he says if I don't dress warm enough, he'll let me freeze to death. - MuskyHopeful

I have an old wooden crankbait, and the epoxy cracked. Is there anything I can do to fix this lure? It cracked on the side the whole length of the bait.

Two options I'd say, and it depends on the damage and how you want it fixed?

You can sand it all off completely and re-paint/re-finish the lure. Or you could potentially fill the crack in with some epoxy/superglue and maybe put a layer of epoxy or some type of finish over the whole lure. You might be able to touch up the paint a bit in that scenario too. Or potentially send it to one of us luremakers to fix it up.

Here is a mattlock that I fixed a long epoxy crack in and re-epoxied it.

Here is another headlock that I sanded down and completely re-painted/re-finished.
