Location: Germantown, WI | Decided to buy a rod & reel combo specifically for trolling and suckers.... I probably cast 85% of the time still, but figured I would get a set up that specializes in these 2 areas.
Any opinions on this rod ? I like the price point, is there anything else I should consider? |

Location: E. Tenn | I don't own one, but TI has 8'6" trolling rods at a reasonable price on their site.. I do own several of their casting rods, and they serve my needs well.. You might want to think about a 9' XXH for suckers tho..

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | These rods are great! I have 4 8’s and 2 9’s. I wished I had gone all 8’s for my boat, but I wanted longer rods for boards at the time. They handle anything from bass baits to 12” mattlocks at 6.5 mph. Also great for live bait. These are the best trolling rods made with the exception of the custom x rods, but they share the same blanks. The only rod to come close is the 8’ st. Croix premier glass rod.
You won’t be disappointed by any stretch. I’m not sponsored by Chaos in any way. |

That is exactly what I was hoping for someone to say! Appreciate the two responses so far, looking forward to any other opinions |
