Location: Moses Lake, WA | I've never used Etex Lite. I've probably used at least half a dozen different epoxies, right now I'm using Ultra Clear countertop epoxy. One of the things I do before mixing is to pour the A and B components (resin/hardener) into cups and heat them in the microwave (normally around 6-8 seconds) until any milkiness disappears. That's important to suppress microbubbles if you're using highly reflective siding. Heating the individual components also greatly reduces the viscosity, especially of the resin, and allows you to obtain a clear mixture prior to applying to the lure. |
