Location: Illinois | Does anyone have any info about this lake in central Illinois? Would it be worth a drive for the day or would you recommend another Illinois or Indiana lake even for someone in the south suburbs of Chicago?
Thanks!

| Very tough lake to lake to figure out. But huge fish. If your goal is moving some fish and catching a couple in a day, there are better options in Central Illinois. But if you aren't scared off from the real possibility of not seeing a fish all day, evergreen has some huge fish. |

Location: Illinois | Thanks for the insight! Eagle is really the only lake that I have fished consistently over the years, so I’m no stranger to a tough bite. It would be nice to encounter some fish without traveling 14 hours! |

| Evergreen is a good lake but as mentioned tough. I would go to Webster in Indiana if I lived in the South Suburbs. Evergreen has a daily fee and Webster might even be a bit closer, plus lots more fish. |
