For guys who have been using depthraider s for around twenty years I'd like to hear your opinion??

I'm wondering if you've noticed the depthraider s now have the same dive angle or steepness has the one produced in the ninety s and early 2000s,,not has far has maximum depth just the straight down angle?? The Last couple of new ones I bought seem to take a not has sharp degree.
I'm talking about the original floating diving

Yes they’ve changed the lip angle and in terms of casting the new ones retrieve back a bit smoother. Slightly less of a pronounced point on the lip too. To fish with I prefer the new ones but the quality is not there now, go back 20+ years for that.

the old ones last 10x longer, catch more fish, vibrate harder, and have louder rattles. the new ones often have line ties at 45 degrees in the lip. I have bought my last new DR until they are made better. Two days of trolling the new ones and there are holes in the baits from hook rash. no thank you.
