| Can't decide between fishing Shelbyville or Evergreen. Has anyone been fishing Evergreen? What are the water temps? Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

I fished Evergreen on Saturday. There was ice in the coves, but the main lake is still open. Boat launches are also open.
I moved 1 mid 30 incher on a glider. I wish I had more to report.
I'll be back out there this weekend.
Good Luck!!

Location: champaign, illinois | Thad,
You really going this weekend?
I _may_ be able to get out one day myself. Should I not waste my time fishing the north end of the lake and concentrate my efforts around the east ramp and south?
TIA,
Jay

Jay-
This is just my opinion, but I would spend my time from Campground Cove~ South. Really work the south shoreline straight across from the swim beach. Also fish the coves that are down on that end of the lake.
Like I said, that is just my opinion ... if you are out there Saturday you will see me in those same areas I just mentioned.
Good Luck big Fella!! I hope you get a pig!!
