Rebs, I can tell you that a depth raider with 20ft of line out will run about 10ft deep. Not fished a legend can't help you there. I usually don't troll much deeper than 15'.

Depth Raiders run about 15 to 20 feet down and Legends run 20 to 30 feet down in my late season trolling experience. Depends on your line and speed mostly

In an area where a hard bottom is known, take the bait any bait and let out a short line 10-30 yards, then a medium and then a long,, Keep count of the layers of line out each time, and when you bump,,,, then you know. Remember or record, easy huh?
