You might be interested in looking at the SOLIX 10 MEGA SI and SOLIX 10 CHIRP GPS units. It is newer tech and will allow you more functionality now and in the future, due to updates within the last 4 years.

I have an onix 8 at the console and think the unit is great. Only drawback is it draws a lot of power so I had to have a separate battery just for that unit. I will be hooking by other bird up to that battery this year as well.
