| 300 grams isn't going to serve as great Pounder rod, but i guess you know that.
Anyway i think Svartzonker made a 3 or 4 piece 8,5 foot rod up to 280 grams, that would be my best guess. |

| Custom X 9'0 XXH is a great rod for that weight and is capable of throwing pounders as well. |

| I know that, but pounders dont really weight 16oz anyway
The idea is to get a 4 section rod fpr a friend so that he could cast the 12 inch line thru trout
Will check out the svartzonker
