| I looked at this reel this weekend, and am curious to know if this is a new version of the 7000.I already ran a search here to find out more about this one, with no results,so can anyone give up a bit of info., or experience with the 7000 C4? Thanks. |

| Yes, use 7000 exclusively for my casting applications...Great reel..Very good for burning bucktails and spinnerbaits because of the bigger gears and low ratio... |

Location: In the slop! | The 7000c4 I looked at was a lever drag reel, and did not look to handy for casting. I use 7000's almost exclusivly, but will stay with my c3's. |

| All the 7000C4's I've seen have been lever drag trolling reels. If your looking for a 7000 take a look at the new 7000HSN. |
