I was just out there today, the warmest a saw around 2pm was 78 degrees. I saw some 74 degree waters earlier in the day. Lots of small shad balls back by Paul ice. I caught lots of bass but worked very hard for any size. The wife lost a monster bass on a shallow invader lol.

Location: 15 miles east of Lake Kinkaid
I saw the same temperatures Saturday morning 77-78, warmed up a little before we left around 1:30pm. The cooler nights this week should keep the water cool enough to safely fish.
