Posts: 392 Location: lake x...where the hell is it? | thats just it, a scar or mark lets you know if its the same fish. i know a few guys that have caught the same fish that i have or someone i know has. catch and release works, no doubt about it.

Jerry, Some day I'm gonna leave Lake St. Clair and make it up there to fish with you. You have had an amazing season and I'd love to spend some time in the boat with ya up in Minnesota. What a fish!! Well deserved! Keep it up! Scott

Posts: 159 | Good to hear about you getting healthy Tom---miss you on the boards also. Jerry--that fish is truly unbelievable---without looking at the formula it has to go over 50lbs right? 31 fish over 50 inches this season---what a year! Congrats! Just a somewhat philosophical question---where do you go from here? Is there really any chance that you will ever catch a bigger Musky? How does that make you feel? Just the musings of a guy who have never caught a Musky nearly that big.

But the older they get the less they grow. They also don't live forever. I'd venture to guess that fish is reaching its asymptote on the growth curve.
