It's alot of water and if your looking for a nice place to stay with all the extras check out Crow Rock Lodge. Great guides, awesome food and lots of lunges !

Bob, back at you, I said Sandy's and I still do but with 5 G's I whould , go to Moosehorn on Lac Seul and get into some real good top water fishing, Big Fish, allso back to lake of the wood's go to Big Narrows resort I fished it last Aug. we had a 8 day Lic. and fished not far from camp We were on fish all the time if we didn't see fish on a rock reef in 15min. we were on to the next one allso my partner got his first 50" fish most of our fish were caught on w10 bucktail's Brown@yellow. ( can you say rustycrawfish) this were big fat fish. Big Narrows phone# (1-807-543-4080) call them thier American plane has very good food they have boat's and guide's if you need them. They are about 15 Miles north of Sandy's resort. They are both in very good muskie water. I started fishing lake of the woods in 1962 when my wife and I spent 10 day's fishing out of Sandy's every August for about 10 years, and try as I might I most allways end up fishing the north west angel. Good Fishing to you Marv.

You should really checkout Temple Bay Lodge on Eagle, they have the best bang for your buck! my son and I did a musky101 day with one of their guides Jeff and we learned alot. you can also ride thier bus overnight and fish next morn, great new things going on there.
