The weather was drizzling today at 5pm. I watched a 40" fish nose around the left end of the Wingra Creek dam, wait for five minutes, and then stand up at least 20" out of the water, trying to get over the dam in the middle of it. It thrashed like that standing up out of the water, trying to jump up the dam for about 5 seconds and then gave up to rest some more.

Just stopped in for a peek, no big fish but probably 6-8 small males swimming around. There was 2 paired up swimming around next to the bank so fish are probably spawning. Gonna be tough this weekend, hopefully the pairs don't get harassed too much but what can you do. Got me excited just to see some musky in open water!
