Location: Oregon | Funny this thread came up right now. My good friend is sending in his camera (I won't mention who makes it) because it got wet two weeks ago while trying to use it in the rain. If you use the camera much for fishing, look closely at those that are designed to get wet!

| I have the Canon PowerShot SD 400 Digital Elph and absolutely love it. Thanks to Todd M for the recommendation and several of us are now using it with great results |

Location: Chicago, Beverly | I like the Olympus Digital cameras, I have both the Stylus 400, and the Stylus 410.. They are water resistant and both can take video in addition to pictures, though the 410 also has sound capability.. |

Location: Verona, WI | I've got an Olympus Stylus that's weather proof that I would not give up. I have had the thing completely soaked and it worked perfect. They also make a water proof version that they will test for you at Best Buy that works submerged. |

| Can't beat the LEICA's for their unsurpassed clairity, res, LED screen, ease of use, portability, and reliability in my op. The digilux 2 has 8.3 mil pixels & 4x dig zoom as well. Many good choices out there for sure! |
