I would take the longer commute of a west or south suburb any day over living in the North Ghetto.

Once again thanks everyone for all the suggestions and help. Looks like Champlin may be the winner...I'm driving up there next week to scope it out along with a few other backup plans.

Try Crystal, 15 min from tonka, 10 from eagle. Grandma selling her house in crystal for 120,000 well kept. Easy access to downtown to.
