Heading up north to the lake now. Will be fishing Vilas and Oneida county lakes but will be right on the Buckatabons.

Still debating with myself where to go until my friend gets off work...I don't want to mess with prespawn fish so most likely it's going to be the river. Smaller lakes at dark with good water temps too I think. Bringing a couple rods for walleyes and crappies too as my bosses perspective is rubbing off on me..ie only going gung ho for muskies in the fall.

Going to the lake house for a couple of days Sunday night until Thursday, wife is out of town for 8 days so it should be fun

Saturday, May 24. Went to Lake Wilhelm, Mercer County, PA. Water not exactly gin clear. Pressure? Not exacly alone on the lake. Little structure. Like being a kid in the batter's box against an angry Bob Gibson in his prime. Three pitches. Three strikes. And you're out of there without a fish.
