I played around with the tails on the rear of some glides and did not like the looks.
I mainly ran them on cranks. Trolling and twitching.
As far as taking away from the action of the bait by having the tail cover the end of the hook and split ring, I liked running it that way and the fish seemed to like it that way as well. The tail acts like a shrink tube and kept the hook out from the rear of the bait. If you do not like this, cut the tail a little shorter to expose the end of the hook and you could run it that way to.

So you suggest to use them on crank baits and trolling and twitching lures, rather than on jerk bait.
I wanted to use them on jerk baits to have lures like squirko,phantom,ecc.
However I will buy them when they will be available on the market to use them on cranks,ecc.
