Got a couple of fat little pike using 12-14" suckers on Waubesa Sunday. Here is a pic of the bigger of the 2 at 36". Some other nervous suckers and maybe a couple of drops too.

Slow Thursday...Friday...Saturday until 2:30, my buddy Matt nailed two with sucker--a 43 and a 47.5, and back to nothing again on Sunday. Feeding windows...I'm thinking they do exist.

Fished the flowages on the Peshtigo River above Crivitz. Had a really strong sucker bite going on the 30th and 31st fishing deeper rocks, but it totally died on the 1st and 2nd. Threw artificials all over creation those four days too and had one small fish follow a glider off a sand bank. Caught 34" and 37" muskies, 30" pike, and missed 6 more fish on the suckers. Saw one before it got off after 30 seconds and it looked to be a mid to upper 40" fish. All the others seemed to be lower 30" class fish by the way they felt and the amount of rod bend as you set the hooks. Really strange how completely they shut off Sunday after the front went through. I thought fronts weren't supposed to affect the fish that much in fall?
