I'm just getting back from fishing Hayward and noticed this thread and giant fish, WOW my biggest was 34". I also went to the Hayward muskyfest while I was there and the locals were going wild over John Dettloff and another guy on a float dressed in Louie garb with that fake record. It was a complete joke and almost sickened me really, I couldn't help but wonder what they would have done if they had real giants like this one? Cripes, how anyone can say Spray's record is even close is just amazing and stupid.
