The whitefish wasn't inside the pike when we found it. It was sitting on the bottom in about 5' of water and I saw how huge it was and the teethmarks and just had to play with it so I snagged it with a bulldawg. Looking at the bite marks we could see how the fish was holding the whitefish by the belly and moving it back and forth but it looks like it figured out that it was too big to try. But it still must have been a really nice pike, which doesn't surprise me as there are some really big fish in the lake.
