It's about time some different teams are in the playoffs, I hope the Wild will go all the way!! My Rangers really sucked this year, high price team that just didn't seem to mesh.

HUNTERMD,
Oh yeah I got ya!
Only thing that has come out of the playoffs that the Hawks fans can be happy about is the detroit sweep!!! Yeah, thats right Michigan boys. We will be better next year though with our young guns, and hopefully we can acquire some more. But we'll have to wait and see.

Hunter, you might enjoy this picture I attached. I mean would the Iraqi Information Minister lie to us? I think not...lol

Mo-Muskies - I grew up in Webster Groves (WGHS class of 1979). Went to SLU and UMSL then moved north for graduate skool (MBA) about 15 years ago. Never looked back as the fishing and hunting sucks in St. Louis. But, like most St. Louis natives, I'm still very loyal to the sports teams. Sometimes I can hear the Redbirds on KMOX all the way up on the shores of Lake Superior. Still have family and friends there. Where are you at in old St. Louie?

As a loyal Blackhawks fan, I can finally rest knowing the Wings and Blues are GONE!!!!

As far as I'm concerned, Ottawa has it in the bag but I would love to see the Ducks or Wild show everyone.

Ranger - South St. Louis raised, educated at St. Mary's High and UMSL grad. Live in South County now.. 626 miles from driveway to North/South Twin (favorite musky water). Heading to Webster in the morning, hope the muskies are active, but, I hear that the water is off color and O2 level is at all time low.. Oh, well, at least I'll be casting for 'skies..

Take care.

All I can say is Congrats to the WILD. I'm now torn between them and the Ducks. I am just scared the East has it. But I am going to enjoy both of these series.

As always, the Stanley Cup Playoffs have not disappointed. Ducks/Wild should be a great series. Being without a NHL home team (Wisconsin) I've always been a diehard 'Hawks fan, and without them in the race I always pull for the underdog. The Wild and Ducks have played giant killer with a vengance (Wild beat Colorado who have 3X the payroll) and promise a memorable finals. Ottawa/Jersey should be great as well.
GO WILD!!!

Dang, I recall going to a deciding Blues playoff game at the Checkerdome, like in 1979, where the game went to TRIPLE overtime. So many people snuck into the sold out game (including me!) that it was hard to walk down the stairs. They completely sold out of beer, a first ever at a Blues hockey game, I believe.

Blues WON! I think we were playing those peter-puffers from Chicago.

Very special and WILD season.
Very fun.
Win or lose, it is a blast seeing these very young men do a number on some real heavys of the NHL.

If any of you all are in the Rink, stop by Section 212, Row 2, Seats 9 & 10.
We are always there!

GO WILD!!!

Keep on Rock'en!

Actually, I'm more impressed with The Gophers going back to back in the NCAA, but I hope that The Wild makes it all the way. No bazillionaire superstars, just a team of good players with alot of heart. They sure get it done when they have to. Why anybody wastes their time watching basketball or baseball is beyond me!
You guys in MN do me a favor.....teach the college crowd the proper way to celebrate with dignity and don't burn down the Twin Cities or anything.
And while we're on the subject of dignity, isn't great that hockey teams can beat the living crap out of eachother and just about die on the ice, but they all line up and shake hands afterward. That's an example that every sportsperson can learn from. In my opinion, hockey players are the classiest of all professionals.
Now drop the puck!
Good luck.

Isn't it great that the 6th and 7th team in the west made the final, no matter who wins this one will be a cake walk for the Ottawa Senators. Sens in 5 over the devils and 4 in the stanley cup final.

GO SENS GO

Sens by far have the best chance. In 5 Trophy? Hmm... My prediction is 7 but Sens on top, you have to throw in the Brodeur factor which is at least 2 wins for the devils. I still have this side that feels the Wild or Ducks could upset the East. We shall, see it's going to be fun.

Yup, we sure all know that Canada has the Cup in the bag this year!!!!
Somebody should have told The Devils that.
I had the pleasure of watching Brian Rafalski play collegate hockey for years in Madison. Looks like he not only excelled then, but continues to get better every year.
Don't start singing "Oh Canada" just yet.
Looks like the only cup in the Sens locker room is going to be the ones that they strap on.

Looks like I won't be needing those crows.
That was one of the best games that has ever been my pleasure to watch.
Both goaltenders deserve a standing O.

Yes, Friday's game was top notch. Was pulling for the Sens, but oh well. This whole playoffs has been nothing short of outstanding, with the Philly-Toronto series probably being the best. Go Devils.
