I'm curious because I don't know anyone who uses them for muskies. I would think the weight/action of the bait would make them work very differently (change the dive rate) than salmon trolling with spoons.

I tried to use them several times. But always ended up going back to just adding a lead on the front end of a long leader.

I have caught fish with them. The trick will be using a longer leader, 6ft as most baits with a shorter lead will flip the diver over and ride the surface. I used a vibrax bucktail when I used it.
