What do the abreviations of motors stand for? I am assuming that e stands for electric and t stands for trim what do these letters mean and what are the benefits?

H= Handle
O=Oil injected
P and/or T=Power Trim & Tilt
L=Long shaft
XL=Extra Long Shaft(25")
M=Manual

That's about all I can think of off hand.

C= c series
D= twin rotating props
E= enduro series
F= four stroke
L=counter rotation
P=pro series
S=salt water series
T=high thrust
V= v-max series

(X) Fuel induction:
F=four stroke
X= OX66 advanced oil injection
Z= high pressure durect injection (HPDI)

(150) prop shaft Horse power:
self explanatory

(T) starting method,power trim and tilt:
T=power trim and tilt model with elec. start
P=power tilt with elec start
E=manual tilt with elec start
M=manual tilt with manual start

(L) shaft length:
S=15"
L=20"
X=25"
U=30"
J= jet drive

(R) control method:
R=remote control
H=tiller handle

(B) model year
