I just picked up a Livid fish lure.....I liked it's action in the video they have.....the hooks seem sort of small....do you guys put on bigger hooks.....or would that change the action.....thanks

it depends on how big of a hook change your talkin? i own 2 and i went up one hook size for the front two and on the back hook i put a single hook on it for quick strikes and she still catches fish! Hope that helps

You can play around with the hooks as much as you want, it really won't change the action at all.  When we were designing the lure we tried lots of different hooks and got the same results (action-wise) each time.  The issue we kept coming back to was whether we wanted the hooks to have the opportunity to hook each other or not.  Longer hooks may cause tangling with each other.  That's the reason the hooks are 4/0.  Some guys are throwing an Octogombo on a single hook in the back and catching fish that way.  Anyway, I appreciate you guys using the lures.
