Going up to sabaskong bay by morson next week and have heard that the lake level is about 3 feet above normal. I was wondering how that has affected the weed growth, water temps, fishing in general, etc? I've been there before, so I know to be careful with the navigation, since I've found the rocks a couple of times[:((], luckily no real damage [:)]. Any help would be appreciated. Eric

I have heard from the folks at Red Wing that the fishing has been good. Several fish caught early by smallmouth fishermen. Bite continues. With high water keep an eye out for floating logs and debris. The high water allows stuff to float off islands and shore, be careful.

Good luck, Murph!
