Hey guys I was looking at the 9 foot xh avaio rod. Was wondering how it throws pounders. Does it have a stiffer tip? I wanted a fast action rod with a pretty stout tip for big minnow baits and pounders. Any input is greatly appreciated-Steve

I have 3 of them....2 9' and 1 8'6"....and love them for the very reason you mentioned re: fast action and stout tip. They did a great job on the design of the rods and you won't be disappointed.
