Not sure the name of the part but front threaded part that tightens into the reel broke. Im looking for help on how to fix. Does the back (cork) part come off? Figured maybe if I used a heat gun it was just glued. Thanks

If that ring is actually broke and not just detached from the hood you're going to have to grind off the cork and slice the reel seat with a dremel. Make an incision from top to bottom of the r/s and insert a screwdriver and twist.

Just use a small hose clamp to hold your reel to the rod instead. I've been doing this for several years on a rod that had the same problem and have never had an issue with it.
