| So I've been reading the different postings on reels. Many - if not all - of the posting regarding "burning double 10's" make mention of the Trinidads, Saltists, etc.....those without a levelwind mechanism.
So what is it that makes those reels difficult to operate? I assume that the casting motion is similar to a levelwind. What about the retrieve? Do you have to work the line back on to the reel with your fingers or something? I searched all over the 'net for a video. Many show how to cast but I did not find any that showed how to retrieve.

Retrieve as you normally would, just make sure the reel is in the upright position. No need to use your fingers as line guides. |

| I had one for a short while imo they are really finicky on what types of line that work in them like mine the only line that even worked and still not great was 80lb cortland super braid I heard the 100 was better but counlnt find any! it still gave me grief but not as bad as other lines I ended up getting a levelwind reel and love it!!! |
