THE FIRST YEAR I USED THESE LURES I HAD ABOUT TEN FISH HIT AND ONLY BOATED 1 SMALL FISH.SO I DECIDED TO DROP THE REAR HOOK BACK SIMILAR TO THE WAY THE DEEP INVADERS ARE MADE.AFTER THIS MODIFICATION I MANAGED TO BOAT THE NEXT 4 THAT HIT THE LURE.JUST A LITTLE TIP I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE. [:)]

Interesting, did you attach the rear hook via a solid wire setup similar to the deep model?

If you have a picture and can upload it that would be pretty cool.

I have a few of the shallows and had similar results as you...this is a nice tip.

Thanks,

Mark

I have had simular experiences withn the Shallow Invader,I just put a small rubber band around the rear hook for the modification. It doesn't kill the action but I have yet to test this mod on a fish.Good Luck to all,Paul
