| My friend and I are looking for a musky guide to take us out on a lake somewhere in Minnesota or Western Wisconsin. If you know of anyone could you please let me know. We are looking at anytime this weekend (October 5-6) We both love the sport, but could always use a few more pointers from some seasoned veterans. Please e-mail me prices, info, and lake information to [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from all of you. [8)] |

| asteffes, I noticed your uwec mailing address...I live in Eau Claire too.
I recommend Mark H - a great guy and knows the area very well. I have a blast whenever I get the opportunity to get in the boat with him.
Another option in addition to going out with a guide like Mark is to come check out the First WI Chapter of Muskies Inc. Chapter in Chippewa Falls/Eau Claire.
We have general membership meetings every month (except Sept. and Jan.) and hold seminars throughout the season. There are a lot of experienced guys in the club to tap into...Mark Hintz is a prime example.
I don't mean to slight Darrin at all here, it's just that I've spent time fishing with Mark and haven't had that opportunity with Darrin. I know Darrin has a good reputation and I'll bet the tacklebox that you'd have a great time with him as well.
Email me for more info or to just b.s. about local waters.
