ive been having trouble with some small dawgs or super ds idk which they are think i got some off both but they swim good sometimes and sometimes seem to turn on their side ...is it because im useing a leader with a swivel. should i just be using a straight connection with a split ring or what... ive also tried taking the split rings off and it helps a bit but still a problem

Try 'tuning' them by bending the internal harness up, down, left or right. The shallow models (hole punched in dorsal) may roll if pulled hard, but I usually use a softer, slower touch with those.

Or it may be the 7strand wire harness in the newer prodawgs... They don't tend to have the perfect inline glide on the sweep as a finely tuned solid wire harness one does. I work the newer 7 strand prodawgs a little slower or with less sweeps and more pops or slow pulls.
