Hey, guys checkout my 49 incher with it's forked tail from LOW last week. Could of this been caused from prevous tail splits due to nettings? Also, yes ToddM. the fish is a legitmate 49 inches and not due to an illusion from me being vertically challenge. What is your thoughts on that tail. Good Fishing, Al[:bigsmile:]

My guess Alan is that the Northern Snakehead inhabits the lake![;)] Nice daggone fish...Todd will agree I'm sure...

Geez Alan, I have never ever made a short joke about you. Sure I have plenty about guys like Jason Smith, Doc Esox and Scott Jenkins but not you even though the guys I just mentioned tower over you.[:devil:]

That tail seems near worthless to that fish. I wonder if it was bitten off at one point in it's life or had some sort of injury or fungus or something. That does not look like fin splitting cause where is the fin? I wonder how much it hampers that fish to burst speed?
