I've run out of travel on the tension screw for the steering. It self steers in circles under even low power. The Minnkota rep's only suggestion was take it to a authorized service center. Before I pull it apart myself I thought I'd ask if anyone else has run in to this ? Might this be an easy home fix ? Thanks.

One tip when stowing the motor up to travel, make sure you do not have the motor turned so your foot pedal is at extreme high or extreme low position. You are stretching your cable connections and straining your foot pedal with every bump. End result can be a motor that steers itself.
