I plugged in the onboard 3 bank Ranger charger Friday night. Noticed today that one battery still is not showing the green(charged) light. I opened up the battery box and noticed a lot of heat on 1 battery. I unhooked it and did a voltage test on it, it read around 14 volts. Anyone else have this happen? Is it the charger I need to look into or the have the battery checked better? The other 2 batteries were cold, just had a lot of heat from the one. Thanks for any help.

i would have the battery checked as a first step. you could take the lead from that battery and put it on another and see if the other battery gets hot. But IMO its the battery.

That's what I thinking, just won't have time to mess with it much untill next weekend, but that is probably what I'll try, or try another charger on it too.
