My boat came with taper lock seat bases and i am going to be getting a leaning post. I have hear taper locks do not hold the best with leaneing posts. But i have no experence with them.

Whats your thoughts on the best base for leaning posts? Maybe i heard incoorectly on taper locks but i thought before i buy i ask here first. Thanks

I have the taper lock bases on my boat and haven't ever had any problems with them. Just make sure there snaped in.
