| Hello
I searched posts but could not find anyone here have experience running an HDS Lowrance unit on a Minn Kota universal sonar U2 motor?
I love my motor and looking to put an HDS up front this year
Anything I should know about, tips tricks?
I am considering either the 5 or 7

Location: Eagan, MN | I have the 5 on a terrova w/ US (I assume that's what you mean). I've only had it out twice but will be on the water all weekend. So far it works great and the US is as good as the regular transducer I have for the hds 5 on my console. Let me know if there is anything specific you want to know. I'll try to report back w/ any good tips/tricks on Monday. |

Location: Indiana | I have a 7 hooked up to my terrova us2 , haven't had any problems. I like the 7 for screen size when I have the gps and sonar on, would think the 5 would be to small. |
